Ainscough Crane Hire has launched a new app which will further underpin the culture of safety within the company.
The App is designed to engage with all team members sharing information on employee benefits, company news and regular safety updates, the new app is available to all of the Ainscough team. Uniquely it allows for crane operators to communicate “near miss reporting” in real time, operators and engineers are encouraged to share “near misses” so that we can learn from the experience.
HR Director, Maggie Langford explained the purpose of the app. She said: “At Ainscough we are always looking for new ways to work and to innovate the way we do things. The app fulfills a number of functions for the business but it allows the team to feel connected to the business and to enable real time two way communications so that team members have a voice and can tell us what is happening in the real world.”
“By using the app, our team has access to the very latest information and guidance from our QHSE team and can learn from others’ experiences. The effect is that they can operate more efficiently and with additional awareness of potential risks. We know these are key reasons why our customers return to us time and again and it is vital that we reflect their demands in our approach.”
The app is available to download to any operating system on smart phones, tablets, PDAs or laptop / desktop computers. It enhances our “Make the Safe Choice” approach to managing health and safety risk.
