Ainscough once again opened its doors to customers at the North West Open Day in Leyland, on 27th August. Bringing together its National Hire Centre, Ainscough Wind Energy Services, Heavy Cranes, Preston and Haulage divisions, the event showcased the group’s ‘one team’ capability as a UK lifting services leader.

While customers marvelled at the new 750 Te, a 60 Te variabase, a 45 Te, a 40 Te, MPC 44 and new Scania unit and truck, Ainscough’s team were able to communicate their ‘whole project’ capabilities to make customers aware of just how much Ainscough can offer under a single proposition. As Commercial Support Manager Lynsay Robinson explains:

“It’s important for us to showcase the products, the services and the level of professionalism that Ainscough can offer as a team. We needed to get the existing customer base here of course, but also speak directly to new and target customers so they could see with their own eyes why Ainscough? The open days are also great for catching up with customers, to give them a refresh and help them see the investment we have made in new cranes and infrastructure”.

Companies such as Murphy, Siemens, Centrica, Morgan Sindall were all sent a formal invitation to the event, with 94 visitors attending on the day.

“I must say I thoroughly enjoyed the day, a great visual display of Team Ainscough’ efforts and professionally done throughout.”
Simon Sutton, Regional Plant & Transport Manager, J Murphy
“Well organised and very informative.”
David Boughey, Director – UK, ALE Heavy Lift
“Showcased perfectly what Ainssough is all about…the quality and professionalism shone through.”
Dave Holder, Director General Manager, HTC Wolfkran

The new Ainscough Group websites are now live, complete with innovative features that support customers, colleagues and prospective job hunters alike…

Consolidating the group’s online presence in to one central hub, www.groupainscough.co.uk, www.ainscough.co.uk, www.james-jack.co.uk and www.awes.co.uk have a whole host of built-in features and benefits to help our customers understand the value that Ainscough can bring.

The site has been designed to work on smart phones and tablets as well as your desktop.

A ‘Chat’ function on every page instantly connects to a team of advisors who can assist with any requirement. There are also improved ‘Safe Lift Calculator’ and ‘Request a Call Back’ functions on the home page, while a ‘Request a Crane Specification Guide’ form allows customers to request the vital information they need. And perhaps most notably, as Ainscough continues to grow across the UK, there is a new and updated depot locator that provides full addresses, telephone numbers and depot manager details for every one of the group’s strategically placed depots.

With so much going on at Ainscough, this is an exciting time to join the group. Recruiting good people is important to us, there is a dedicated ‘Jobs’ section where users apply for new roles at the click of a button. The jobs section also explains the rewards and benefits in working for the UK’s market leader in Lifting Services.

Have a look around and let us know what you think…
